By now it’s no secret that I have an affinity for tech gadgets. I was watching tv late last night as saw an ad for the Jupiter Jack. It’s a hands free gadget to allow you drive with out having to hold the phone while you drive. I also have to admit that I have a serious problem when it comes to driving and talking. I know it’s not a good idea but it seems like it’s the easiest time to get a hold of people and traffic is often bad on my way home so I tend to talk and drive a lot. I do feel guilty about it though. Which brings me back to this as seen on tv advertisement I saw last night for the Jupiter Jack. It was super cheap $19.95 and they were running a special 2 for the price of 1. I did some research and found that it seemed like it got decent reviews. I figured for the price I could try it out and give one to my sister for Christmas since she is always on the phone while she is in the car too.

My first concern was that it would work with my Iphone. The Jupiter Jack comes with 3 different adapters and one of them does work with the iphone. The other big complaint seemed to be that the unit only worked on one channel. I did some research and found that the company had heard peoples complaints and fixed the issue so the Jupiter Jack can now be used on multiple radio channels. I’ve really never been a sucker for as seen on tv products but I figured that even if it totally sucked I’d only be out twenty bucks. Of course let’s not forget that it costs to ship as well. Still for the price I think I’m going to pull the trigger on this gadget. Once I’ve tested I’ll make sure to make a follow up post and let you all know what I think of the Jupiter Jack.
